Decentralized Procedures (DCP)

A decentralized procedure (DCP) must be initiated if a company wants to obtain a drug approval simultaneously within several EU countries. An application for mutual recognition (MRP) may also be submitted.

Each member state involved in the DCP or MRP issues a national approval upon completion of the procedure.
