Positive opinions

The CHMP, the Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use, issues opinions on centralized marketing authorization applications every month at its plenary sessions (which are mostly held from Monday to Thursday). If the CHMP has issued a favorable opinion and thus recommended the approval of a medicinal product, a summary of the opinion is issued on the Friday after the meeting. This summary contains essential information about the medicinal product, such as the full recommended indication and the main benefits and risks.
