At mt-g you can complete an office management apprenticeship if you are training to become a businessperson. The special thing is that during your training, you will get to know the world of international project management – from planning to organization and implementation.

That is why we are looking to hire a specialist who will strengthen our Translation Localization Engineering team and work at our company headquarters in Ulm.

Your responsibilities:

  • Independently develop a roadmap for the integration of MT into the company portfolio, and participate in the marketing of MT services
  • Select and possibly develop, test, and implement text analysis solutions, conduct suitability testing, and evaluate MT output in the CAT environment
  • Independently support our project teams by providing consultations, fielding questions, and technically implementing customer requirements
  • Collaborate closely with our localization engineers, project managers, and language specialists

Your profile:

  • At least 5 years of experience providing support for and administering CAT systems (Across, SDL Trados Studio, MemoQ, or similar)
  • Experience integrating, managing, and supporting machine translation in CAT systems
  • Completed master‘s degree in linguistics or relevant professional experience
  • Experience using Python, Javascript, or C++ is a plus
  • Experience implementing and handling APIs is a plus
  • German and English language skills (C1 level required), knowledge of additional foreign languages is a plus
  • A high degree of self-initiative and ability to adhere to a structured work schedule
